Saawariya has a classic love story as its main theme. It’s a surreal, magical love story that is filled with innocence, passion, romance and desire. Ranbir is an artist who is a restless soul, till he chances upon a beautiful, magical little town with mountains, snow and mesmerising beauty. It is also in this town that he spots the beautiful, mysterious Sakina one day clad in a black gown and standing alone on a bridge. She looks surreal and fits in completely with the beautiful surroundings due to her beauty. Sakina Sonam) is a beautiful young girl who has been waiting for love to happen all her life. Ranbir (Raj) is a free-spirited, enthusiastic young lad who falls head over heels when he sets his eyes on Sakina.

What follows is the fairytale romance, the all consuming passion, the trials and finally the conquering of true and innocent love.
Saawariya’s music has been done by Monty Sharma and the cinematography is given a bluish, magical and surreal setting to match the time-less love story. Saawariya is slated for release on November 9.
