Some titles are very catchy and appeal you to have a watch. ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ also fall in this category and unlike the title; it has a lots of romance and emotions. The film is like any other love stories of Bollywood but very absorbing and refreshing. It automatically holds your attention, very youthful and entertaining. The film is about young couple falling in love. It shows their journey from hatred to love. Opposite always attracts and the film also shows how two main protagonists holding different views falls in love with each other. Audience basically love ‘Love Stories’, it always attracts them and if the film is made with slight deviation and with some different spices, it tastes differently, it sounds the same for ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.
Filmmaker Karan Johar loves making romantic flicks, his cinema is full of life and he very often makes his actors sing and dance. Indirectly, the film makes fun of those filmmakers that loves to make love stories. The cinematography, costumes, settings, stars are a treat to watch. It’s has a feel good effect and very attractive.

Simran has been assigned as an art director. When Jay and Simran cross each other, they always fight because both carry different ideologies. Finally, after few encounters, love bloomed between them. The couple goes though every emotions of love and finally awaits a happy ending for them.
Debutante director’s Punit Malhotra’s handling of the subject is fabulous. It shows that he has a sharp eye of romance flicks. More love stories are waiting for him in the future but what little he needs is to polish up his writing. Manish Mahotra’s costume is mind-blowing, very trendy and appealing. Vishal-Shekhar’s music is average. Ayanka Bose's cinematography is fine. The dialogues penned by Punit Malhotra go well.

In the nutshell, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ is an ordinary romantic flick with little deviation at some instances. It will appeal some section of the audience only. Will not turn out to be a blockbuster. Watch for some refreshment.
