But for the first time realistic specialist Madhur Bhandarkar has uplifted the ugly picture of the world of glitz and glamour in his new flick which is basically remains hidden behind light, camera and ramp. Madhur is a good realistic story teller; he keenly studies the negativity of the society and makes his character portray the real character in an effective way.

Whenever Madhur tells any story, he is able to grab the attention of the audience and raises goose bumps. His every story makes people encounter with the society in which they resides and where they respires. Madhur gets deep into the subject matter and lets his character speak about the realism.

is captivating. It makes you stick to your seat and glued to the silver screen. At moment, it also hypes your palpitation.
In 2:40 hours, Madhur has spoken about the nasty world of
industry through the life of three different models that are at different levels of stardom. Mainly, it encircles around an aspiring model Meghna Mathur (), successful but defeated model Shonali (Kangna Ranaut) and outspoken model Janet (Mugdha Godse). The story primarily deals with the life of Meghna who hails from middle class orthodox society but aspiring to shine bright in the world of glitz and glamour at any cost. 

Meghna against her parent’s wish played by Raj Babbar and Kiran Juneja landed in an unknown city with the aim in mind to fulfill her dream of becoming a part of the glamour world. She was lucky enough to get the entry door of
industry without much hardship. In her initial days of struggling period, she was fortunate enough to get the company of a gentle model Janet. While making the rounds of modeling agencies for auditions, Meghna met Maanav (Arjan Bajwa) and fell in love with him. When she was facing accommodation problem, she also shared the same room with him.

Meghna climbed the ladder of success rapidly. She very soon caught the sight of Panache’s top official Anisha Roy (Kitu Gidwani). Anisha introduced her to the head honcho of Panache, Abhijit Sareen (Arbaaz Khan). Abhijit was impressed with Meghna’s enthusiasm and capability to achieve the impossible and the same time, he was swept away by Meghna’s personality. Abhijit later replaced supermodel Shonali by Meghna as she was deeply addicted to drugs. After joining Panache, photo shoots, endorsements, parties,
shows became part and parcel of Megna’s life.

Eventually, she was bound to kill her ethics to shine in the glamour world. In the process, she left behind her love, close friends and family. Meghna struggled, passed through many bad phases of life but revert back at the end.

The screenplay by Madhur, Anuradha Tiwari and Ajay Monga deserve huge round of applause. They sneak peek into the real world of
and brings into forefront the exact scenario of industry. Niranjan Iyengar’s dialogue is up to the mark.

Speaking about the performances,
rules throughout, she deserves credit. She has totally grown as an actress. Kangana Ranaut is mind blowing. She has played her part tremendously well and the role suits her best.  Mugdha Godse has got little scope to enact but she has been able to collect accolades through her minimal performance. Arjan Bajwa is mind-blowing. Kitu Gidwani, Arbaaz Khan has done well. Raj Babbar and Kiran Juneja have showed matured acting.

introduces you to the industry. The film will add to the excitement of Diwali. It is a treat for the cine-goers. It will have favorable opening and gradually increase the box-office collection. Madhur again shines as a director as the film has able to catch the heart beat of the audience. In a nutshell, is a Must Watch flick.
