99The name <99 may sound odd. But the very title has been given as it tells that the incident took place in the year 1999. Helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K, the film is stylish, extraordinary and interesting. It has been able to grab audience interest. At times, you may feel it is bit stretching but the next moment another interesting incident holds your interest. With , , Boman Irani, Mahesh Manjrekar, , Simone Singh, Cyrus Brocha as star casts, the film gives you a feeling of gentle breeze.

The drawback of the film is that it is slow-paced and somewhat lengthy. But the maker has done a good job in its presentation. The story is about two small time crooks,
(Sachin) and Zaramud (Cyrus Brocha) who carries an illegal SIM card business. Sachin and Zaramud are two opposite characters. If Sachin is brainy and expert in playing tricks then Zaramud is little dull, sometimes Zaramud’s foolishness lands them into trouble.

They were trapped in a big problem when they robbed a car and met with an accident. Unfortunately the car belonged to a gangster (Mahesh Manjrekar) who asked them to reimburse the loss. How and by what means the two came out of the problem and in their long journey from Mumbai to Delhi the characters that they came across like
(hotel manager), ( match fixer), Boman Irani (gambler), Amit Mistry (bookie) forms the rest of the story.

Though it is Raj and Krishna’s debut venture, they have handled every scene with perfection. They have been able to bring newness to the script. Rajeev Ravi's cinematography is noticeable. Cheragh Todiwala's editing is very accurate. Dialogues are up-to-the mark.

did a good job. Simone Singh has played her part well. is ok. is superb, Cyrus Brocha performed well. Boman Irani is as usual exceptional.

On the whole,
<99 is a well made film. Audience will enjoy watching it, mostly the second half. The film will appeal the youngsters mostly and openings at theaters will be favorable.
