The film is a musical love saga or love triangle which basically revolves around the lives of three individuals, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta. All of them are young college going students with extremely different personalities. Each of them wants different things from life.
Suhaan Kapoor (Salman) - He’s the dude and heartthrob of the college. Suhaan is an aspiring singer and is fun, flirtatious and full of himself. He has big dreams and ambitions for his future. Suhaan was loved by all because of his charming ways and his cool looks. Being young and energetic he anxiously looks forward to the rest of his life.
Agastya Rao (Akshay) - Agastya is the complete opposite of Suhaan, a typical nerd who also looks like a geek. Most of the time he is lost in his own fanciful world. He’s just a guy who wants to work hard but does not have any big starry plans for his future. The shy guy who dons his spectacles and frilly shirts, Agastya can never manage to make too many friends. Nonetheless Agastya has one strong dream and that is the power of love to turn his life around.
Piya Goyal (Preity) - She is the girl who can charm any guy, everyone one wants to be her friend. She has everything, beauty, brains, wealth and that extra special something that draws people towards her. But she also has this vulnerable quality to her which makes her all the more appealing.
Both Agastya and Suhaan love Piya during their college days. However each one of them leads their own life after college ends and goes their own way. Now after ten years they will meet each other again. A lot has changed in these past ten years. Suhaan has everything except love. Agastya is working hard but is still looking for love and Piya is heartbroken and lonely. However they all will meet and they will fall in love once again.
The film also stars Anupam Kher as a dwarf and Soni Razdan will once again be making her re-entry into films. The film is a big budget film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and it is also the directorial debut of Shirish Kunder. The music of the album has been composed by Anu Malik and is already receiving good reviews. Even the look of the film is stylish and rich. All the three actors have a different look and the film is all set to have a Diwali/Eid release. The film is set for release around October 20. |
