Dhoom 2 is the sequel to the hit film Dhoom. The earlier film was full of great style, bikes and involved a cat and mouse chase that gave a new twist to the cops and robbers chase. Continuing the excitement of the cops and robbers game in the sequel, this Yash Raj film has a whole load more in style, bikes, babes, hi-fi special effects and daring action sequences. Dhoom 2 directed once again by Sanjay Gadhvi promises a whole new excitement to the chase. The film once again stars Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra and also has Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai and Bipasha Basu.
ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) is a brilliant cop who is hardworking and completely committed to his work. His performance and determination to put an end to crime has seen him solve many tough cases. This time too ACP Jai is faced with a huge challenge of catching a thief that no one has ever seen. And accompanying him on this mission is Officer Ali (Uday Chopra) who helped Jai during his last mission and since then the two have always worked together. Ali is a simple, fun loving guy; he loves life, his yellow bike and just about every girl he sets eyes on. He also has a great sense of humour and always leaves everyone with a smile on their lips. A cool, down to earth guy who follows the simple living and simple thinking policy and always remembers what his ‘mummy’ advised him to do. Although he is a complete prankster when it comes to helping Jai with his missions, he is always ready and willing to go to any length.
Another member of this awesome team is another super efficient cop, sexy Shonali Bose (Bipasha Basu). She is hot, confident, and vivacious and has the same zest and zeal for her job that Jai has. A college mate of Jai and now his colleague Shonali has managed to create a place for herself in the police force; she is one of the best sharpshooters on the task force and does not hesitate to take down criminals the minute she gets them in her range. This one is not just a beauty but also a great cop. Together the three cops make a great team and they all have one mission- to catch Mr. A, a thief whom no one has ever seen, who never leaves any clues and one who has pulled off some of the most daring thefts ever.
Mr. A or Aryan (Hrithik Roshan) is no petty thief, he is one of the most skilled, intelligent and daring thief’s. He always works alone and so no one really knows him, he plans his entire operation meticulously and with extreme finesse; he never ever leaves any clues. He oozes charm, confidence and looks like a hunk and he loves anything that poses a challenge. He loves to live the high life in the fast lane and always goes for the best be it clothes, gadgets, wine or women. He has pulled of many amazing heists and has left the police of different countries with a cold trail. This time he has pulled of one of the biggest coups, when a royal family is en route a train journey in the solitary deserts of Namibia. Like lightning from the sky, he descended and stole one of the most precious family heirlooms, the royal crown. And this time too he vanishes into thin air without leaving any clues.
But Aryan who always works alone now has company from a pretty young lass Sunehri (Aishwarya Rai) who is also a small time con artist but has many adventurous dreams. She wants to live life to the fullest, she wants to take risks, rise to challenges and experience the thrill of being on the edge. And Sunehri joins hands with Aryan in his missions to achieve all the things she wants from life. Together they enjoy the challenges thrown in their part and the thrill of living on the edge.
Now it’s the cops versus the robbers. Will the three ambitious cops manage to capture one of the most clever thieves? Will Aryan get away with this heist too or will he slip and leave some clue behind, will Aryan outsmart one of the best police teams this time too? Dhoom 2 is slated for release on November 24 and is packed with loads of action in the form of skydiving, rollerblading, sand boarding etc which will be seen for the first time in a Hindi film. One of the most awaited films of the year, Dhoom 2 has created quite a hype.
