Chandni Chowk To China - Movie Preview

Chandni Chowk To ChinaMuch hype is associated with Chandni Chowk To China as it is said to be based on the real life story of stunt hero Akshay Kumar, secondly, the anticipation is more as two dynamic stars Akshay and Deepika will be seen romancing one another. Deepika and Akshay both have a past record of being associated with chartbusters. The most important angle of Chandi Chowk To China is director Nikhil Advani. Nikhil never compromises with music. Though Salaam-E-Ishq bombed at the box-office but its music spelled the magic and still crooned by music lovers whereas Kal Ho Naa Ho turned out to be exceptional. Along with the film, the music rocked.

Nikhil has bestowed the responsibility of framing ear-soothing music not to one music director but the task of composing a soulful music has been given on the shoulder of numerous ace music composers like Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Kailash-Paresh-Naresh, Bappi Lahiri-Bappa Lahiri and Bohemia. There are altogether five songs, each are of different flavors and absolutely situational. It runs on a fast pace and at the same time there is some calmness and steadiness in the flow. Here is a gist of the music of Chandni Chowk To China.

The album opens with 'S.I.D.H.U' by Kailash Kher, Paresh-Naresh. It is an introductory track that introduces the stunt hero Akshay Kumar. Since the first half has been shot in Chandni Chowk, the pure Punjabi flavor is embedded in it. The USP of the song is that the lyric is totally humorous. The musical set up is totally Indian and instruments like harmonium, sitar and tabla has been included in it. The song is fine to hear. Not boring at all.

The second track of the album is 'Chandni Chowk To China' crooned by Neeraj Shridhar, Anushka Manchanda and Shankar Mahadevan. As three brilliant singers have been roped in for the title track, the result is absolutely superb. It is a fun number, light-hearted and total masti kind of song. On listening, you will feel like tapping your feet. The remix version of the title track by D.J Amyth is equally enjoyable like the original one.  Anushka Manchanda rocked; her voice went very well with the music. The lyric is totally up to the mark. Lyricist Rajat Arora showed his prowess.

'India Se Aaya Tera Dost' by Bappi Lahiri, Ravi K Tripathi has some synchronization with Bambai Se Aaya Mera Dost.  The lyric is least similar with the yesteryears song and the enticing capability is also very poor. Hope when it will run will the picture, it may create some impact, otherwise very stale.

The fourth track of the flick is 'Tere Naina' sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Shreya Ghoshal. It is out an out a romantic number, utterly mind blowing and one would definitely fall in love on listening for the first time. The song would entice one to listen to it repeated number of times. Akshay and Deepika would be seen at their romantic best. When the video and audio will go hand in hand, the excitement will be doubly.

Last but not the least, the final track of the film is 'Chak Lein De' by Kailash Kher. It is entirely Kailash type of song and he has been able to create mood. It is absolutely situational and will be a great treat for the Akshay Kumar’s fan. There is no doubt in the fact that the song will be played in near future too.

In the nutshell, the music of Chandni Chowk To China can be regarded top-notch. As it is set in the Chinese background, some chowmin is cooked in the album. Overall, the alum came out beautifully, waiting to hit the chartbusters.
