Aisha - Movie Preview

Aisha‘Aisha’ is sleek, chic, peppy, youthful and full of thrill. Expectation from the album is huge and it basically revolves around the youngster’s choice. Everything related to the film is youthful. Here the star casts Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor is young. Producer Rhea Kapoor is young and so the director of the film Rajshree Ojha. The hype is sky high as it has been an adaptation of Jane Austen's classic 'Emma'. The maker has roped in composer Amit Trivedi and lyricist Javed Akhtar to make the album number one. We have heard Amit Trivedi in Dev D and Udaan and he has proved himself that he can make things happen. He is touted as the music composer of the new generation. He is a man who is capable of fulfilling every demand of the youngsters.

Sonam Kapoor might not be associated with hit films but the music of her films never go without listening. It has always hit the chartbuster. After she debuted in Bollywood, Sonam first tastes success with ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ and now she does not want to leave the success formula. The music of ‘Aisha’ is very foot-tapping and enjoyable. It is doing all around the music channels and the music along with the picturization is catching momentum. There are altogether seven songs and every song is a treat to watch and hear. Sonam is rocking in every song. 

The album opens with a title track, ‘Suno Aisha’ which has an urban feel. Guitar, saxophone, drums and various other musical instruments makes the musical arrangement. It follows in the line of ‘Kabhi Kabhi Aditi’ from ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. The song has been picturized on Sonam Kapoor and undoubtedly, she will add flavor to it by her latkas and jhatkas. Crooned by Amit Trivedi and accompanying him Nakash Aziz and Ash King, the song has a feel good effect. The lyrics by Amit Trivedi connect the audience with the feel of the song straightway.

Next in the offering is ‘Gal Mitthi Mitthi’, a number which is full of fun. The song is foot-tapping and quite enjoyable. It is a Punjabi track and lift up the moment immediately it is played. The musical arrangement is Indian with dhol and flute. Tochi Raina takes hold of the mike and the song is quite enchanting. The Punjabi lyrics by Javed Akhtar and Punjabi beat by Amit Trivedi makes the song worth listening. It has all the ingredients to make the song a direct hit.

The third track of the album is ‘Sham’ which is a slow track and very soulful. Amit Trivedi and Neuman Pinto come together for this beautiful composition. The music pierces though our ears and reaches our heart. It is a romantic number and narrates with full feeling as what the two people is going through in love. The lyric of the song is the USP and it sounds quite melodious.

The fourth track of the album goes as, ‘Bekhe Bekhe’. It brings into the picture singer Anushka Manchanda. She pours soul to the track. Supporting her from the back is Raman Mahadevan and Samrat Kaushal. The song is a treat to hear. The musical arrangement is western and very catchy in appeal. So sooner, it plays the song will start to show its action. The attractive lyrics, good composition and amazing voice of Anushka make the song a delightful hearing. The remix version of the song, ‘Bekhe Bekhe’ is highly instrumented.

The next track of the album goes as ‘Leherein’. Anushka Manchanda’s sweet, melodious voice makes the song highly enjoyable. It is a love song with a feel of sorrow. The song sounds very soothing to the ear.

The last track of the album sounds, 'By The Way'. The song is peppy, hip-hop, electrifying and energetic. Anushka again showed the magic of her voice, lending her full support is Neuman Pinto.

In the nutshell, ‘Aisha’ is stylish, entertaining and perfectly matches to the taste of the youth. It comes as a cool breeze. The music will not go unheard. The album will hit the chartbuster. Hopefully.
