Karisma’s and Kareena Kapoor‘s advent into the world of showbiz was much against the tradition of the Kapoor household. However Bollywood was in for another pleasant surprise when the graciously talented and gorgeously beautiful Kareena Kapoor decided to make a start in acting.

The youngest daughter of Randhir and Babita Kapoor and great granddaughter of the legendary Prithviraj Kapoor was born on 21st of September of 1980. She started her career with her debut in the film Refugee. The charming actress with her long lustrous hair, deep eyes, fair complexion and size zero figure; has always been the apple of people’s eye; to say the least about media which always held her in high esteem.

Belonging to the first family of the tinsel town and having names of many superstars such as Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Rrishi Kapoor attached to her family tree definitely worked in her favour. Today Kareena Kapoor is one of the most booming actresses in Bollywood. Apart from her good looks, her versatile acting skills gave her the opportunity to work in films such as Ashoka, Kabhi Khush Kabhi Gham, Chameli, Yuva, Omkara and Jab We Met. All these films earned her awards, critical acclaim and excellent box office returns.

Of late Kareena Kapoor attracted much attention because of her break up with Shahid Kapoor and her relationship with the divorced Saif Ali Khan. Besides her silver screen appearances Kareena Kapoor is also concerned with the charitable work of fund raising. She is also the ambassador of several brands related to clothing. She aspires to introduce her own line of designer apparel in near future.
