Emraan Hashmi who made his debut with the film Footpath has surely touched Bollywood by his serial kisser image. Emraan Hashmi born on 24th March 1979 to Anwar and Maherahh Hashmi does not reflect the image of a typical chocolate hero.
In spite of not being endowed with the traditional attributes of a romantic hero, his spontaneity in acting is indeed commendable. This was seen in his film Murder, Gangster and Raaz. While the film Murder put him on the road to success, his performance in Raaz and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai established his claim as a character actor. Hashmi who had graduated from Sydenham College in graphic designing shares his ties with the film fraternity of Bollywood. Incidentally Mahesh Bhatt happens to be one of his uncles.
Emraan Hashmi is happily married to his longstanding girlfriend Parveen Salani. He is also the father of a baby boy Ayaan. He once became the focus of controversy on accounts of one his allegation which was communal in nature. However the issue was settled amicably with Emraan Hashmi withdrawing the accusation.
Emraan Hashmi has all the ingredients to make it big in the film industry with his depth, versatility and variety in acting. He has made a mark with his acting in thrillers. His masculinity, depth of expression coupled with his physique make him the ideal one for negative roles.
