Born on the 19th of April 1986 to the Gujrati father Nishit Takia and mother Farida Takia, the bubbly Ayesha Takia knew the light of the tinsel town ever since she was 4. As a child she was into modelling and happened to be the famous Complan girl. In spite of being born and brought up in Mumbai where she studied in St. Anthony's High School, she had problem delivering in Hindi. However that never seemed to be an impediment as she trained herself vigorously to overcome her shortcomings.
The passionately charming Ayesha Takia made her advent into the film industry with the film Tarzan the wonder car which was released in 2004. Socha Na Tha opposite Abhay Deol was also released around the same time. The actress who had also taken part in a couple of music videos enchanted the audience. The voluptuous actress with perfect curves and a cute face won the hearts of millions. She became the hot favourite of the teenagers. Her debut film also saw her bag the Filmfare award for the best debutant. Her free acting full of spontaneity was exhibited by the films such as Dil Maange More, Shaadi No.1 and Wanted which was opposite Salman Khan. All these films went down well with the audience who found in her a promising newcomer.
Apart from having enthralled the audience, she also startled the film critics with her astounding performance in the Telegu film Dor and Robbery. The critically acclaimed Dor saw her win many awards. She reflected her variety in Tasveer by playing a negative role.
Having recently married her boyfriend Farhan Azmi, Ayesha is at present busy in her personal life and is least involved with the tinsel town.
