The multifariously talented Ajay Devgan already had his roots in the film industry as his father Veeru Devgan is a noted stunt choreographer. Born on the 2nd of April 1969 to Veeru Devgan and Veena Devgan he is a graduate from Mithibai College.

Nineteen years of his association with the film industry saw Ajay Devgan mature as an actor, producer and director. Endowed with a robust physique and a masculine roughness Ajay enacted several genres of characters including comic and villainous ones. His debut film Phool Aur Kaatein which saw him win the Filmfare award established his claim as an action hero.

Ajay Devgan who was associated with a number of commercial successes is capable of delivering a wide variety and depth in acting. This was palpable in his films like Hum DilDe Chuke Sanam, Bhoot, Bhagat Singh and Zakhm. His portrayal in Bhagat Singh and Zakhm earned him much appreciation and respect, including two National Awards.

The veteran's career touched the zenith of success with his recently released Once Upon A Time In Mumbai where he gelled well with his co-actors and delivered a memorable performance.

His recently released All The Best and previously released Ishq testify to his ability to deliver comic roles. All The Best had him bag a couple of awards. Apart from acting he also produced films like Raju Chacha and You Me Aur Hum featuring himself and his wife Kajol.

Kajol whom he married in 1999 after a brief affair describes him as a loving father and a versatile actor. Ajay is the proud father of Nyasa and Yug.
